About the role
As a Connections Officer, you’ll manage and deliver a range of minor customer connection services, including new connections, alterations, isolations and abolishments. You will also support other technical customer services such as Access Permits, Tiger Tails and MEG connections.
In this role, you’ll scope customer projects, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure high‑quality, timely and cost‑effective outcomes that meet customer expectations and SA Power Networks’ standards.
Reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager, this role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise while playing a hands‑on role in improving the customer experience across the state.

About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
Essential:
-
Electrical trade certificate, or equivalent skills/knowledge gained through experience
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related position

Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills

Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
-
Experience with SAP and/or design software
-
Additional exposure to project management practices or recognised certifications
-
Exposure to utilities, construction or regulated industry environments, as well as experience with relevant industry systems and portals
