About the role 

As a Connections Officer, you'll manage customer and technical requirements across a diverse range of projects including new connections, alterations, isolations and abolishment’s, while also supporting services such as Access Permits, Tiger Tails and MEG connections. 

Working closely with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are scoped effectively, delivered on time and meet both customer expectations and SA Power Networks' standards. 

You'll play a key role in supporting our Customer Solutions team, helping us provide responsive and reliable services that enable customers to connect safely and efficiently to the network. 

Reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager, this role offers the opportunity to build on your technical expertise and project management capability while making a direct impact on customers and communities across South Australia.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you'll bring: 

Essential: 

  • Electrical Trade Certificate 
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a related position 
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate projects through to completion 

Desirable: 

  • Project management experience 
  • Class C Driver's Licence 
  • Experience working within electricity distribution, utilities or a related technical environment
