About the role
Take control of your own workday and manage tasks such as advanced fault finding, hydraulic & diesel maintenance/repairs, technical support and advice for employees across the business regarding motor mechanic matters and fitting of new and/or existing equipment to vehicles.
An SA Power Networks Motor Mechanic works under minimal supervision and is responsible for the repair, maintenance and legislative inspections of SA Power Networks vehicles, including plant, EWP’s & Cranes.

About you
Your skills and experience will include:

  • Current HR Drivers Licence
  • Licence to operate a Forklift
  • Experience working with hydraulics (advantageous)
  • Licence to operate Gantry Crane and Dogging (desirable)
  • Trade qualification (Automotive Mechanic/Technician or equivalent) – Diesel Mechanic preferred
