About the role

SA Power Networks is seeking a strategic minded leader with operational experience to join the Enterprise Applications team in Digital & Technology.

Based in Adelaide, the Platform Services Manager holds responsibility for the strategic direction, operational management and continuous improvement of SA Power Networks core technological platforms. In this pivotal role, you will oversee platform security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives, while driving innovation and supporting digital transformation.

Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, software licences, financial management, and governance, risk and compliance whilst providing project support to ensure our technology platforms deliver exceptional value and performance.

About you  

SA Power Networks is seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded leader to join the Enterprise Applications team.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of operational expertise, leadership capabilities, and technical acumen, with a proven track record in managing enterprise platforms and driving digital transformation.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience, coupled with experience leading operational teams or managing IT platforms. Utilities experience, particularly in network distribution, will be highly regarded. They will demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing technological platforms aligned with SA Power Networks' business objectives.

This role requires a candidate with deep knowledge of enterprise platforms and cloud technologies, such as SAP (S4/Hana) or Salesforce, and the ability to manage vendor relationships, software licences, financials, and governance, risk, and compliance. Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills are essential, as is the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement while supporting the organisation’s digital transformation journey.
