About the role

Our Customer Solutions team is responsible for new connections, alterations, embedded generation and asset relocation across the state for SA Power Networks. An opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer (PO) to join the team on a 12 -18 month fixed term contract, at our Metro North & Barossa office based at Elizabeth and Metro West, CBD, and Inner North Wingfield offices based either in Wingfield or Holden Hill.  

The PO works to determine customer requirements and the reliable and efficient scoping of both major and minor distribution system projects. Reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager, the role will liaise with management, relevant internal teams and external contractors on both customer connections and project activities, to ensure projects are managed in a timely, cost effective manner according to customer expectations and SA Power Networks’ standards.

About you

Applications are encouraged from energetic, proactive and customer centric project management professionals, or an individual with working technical knowledge looking to move into the project space.

You will bring to the role strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills. You will be a key influential player, with strong stakeholder and customer engagement and partnering capabilities due to your highly developed communication skills.

Other requirements:

  • Diploma of Engineering (electrical preferred) or Diploma of Project Management or equivalent qualification, or the equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience
  • Skills within Microsoft Office suite required, and our company specific systems as desirable SAP, design software
  • Current Driver’s License – Class Car
