About the Opportunity
The Safety Advisor is responsible for providing timely and effective safety support and advisory services. The role involves close collaboration with Safety Business Partners, employees, and leaders across the business. Key responsibilities include field visibility, proactive risk reduction, compliance with WHS legislation, and supporting self-insurance requirements.
The role also assists with the effective management of injuries, including early intervention and supporting workers compensation process, while also supporting the delivery of safety programs and wellbeing initiatives into the customer groups they support.
Essential Role Requirements
Certificate IV in WHS Management and/or equivalent skills and knowledge gained through experience.
Experience in a similar WHS advisory role with a large high risk/complex organisation.
SA Driver’s License (Class C).
Role is based in Mt Barker to service regional portfolio.
May be required to travel Intrastate, and Interstate.
May be required to work outside normal working hours on occasion.
