About the role  
you will provide specialist work health and safety support to project managers, employees and contractors. Through practical advice, visible safety leadership, mentoring and coaching, you will help ensure operational activities comply with WHS legislation and SA Power Networks procedures.

About you  
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: 
You are a confident and collaborative WHS professional who can build credibility in operational and construction environments. You communicate complex requirements in a practical way, influence positive safety behaviours and work effectively with employees, leaders and contractors. Your sound judgement, attention to detail and proactive approach will enable you to identify risk, strengthen compliance and support safe project delivery.

Essential:

• Training competency (Certificate IV in Workplace Training) or equivalent
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety Management
• Current unencumbered SA Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

• 5+ years’ experience in construction
• Diploma in WHS.
