About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Asset Strategy Engineer to play a key role in developing and embedding asset management strategy across the organisation. This role is responsible for defining Levels of Service (LoS), Technical Performance Measures (TPM), and supporting the operational and strategic frameworks that enable strong asset performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
As Asset Strategy Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and documenting the policies, strategies, measures, and plans that support effective asset management across the business. You will work closely with operational and strategic stakeholders to ensure performance targets are clearly defined, monitored, and achieved.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:
- Experience in asset management, asset strategy, engineering, or infrastructure planning
- Strong understanding of performance frameworks, service levels, and technical measures
- Experience developing strategies, policies, and operational plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication and reporting capability
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, operational, and strategic teams
- Understanding of regulatory environments and reporting requirements is highly regarded
- Familiar with contemporary risk quantification approaches
