About the role

SA Power Networks is seeking an Injury Management & RTW Coordinator to join the Safety Wellbeing & Environment Team in People & Culture on a 12 month Fixed – Term contract.

Reporting to the Wellbeing Manager, the Injury Management & RTW Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing and managing injury management and return to work (RTW) processes in line with SA Power Networks' responsibilities as a self insured organisation. This position ensures effective injury management, promotes early intervention and supports compliance with workers’ compensation requirements. The role also involves delivering injury prevention programs and RTW services, promoting a safe workplace in collaboration with leaders and injured employees.

About you

  • Experience in injury management and managing return to work (RTW) processes preferably within a self-insured environment, or for a large complex organisation will be considered.
  • Certification trained Return to Work Coordinator.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the RTW Act 2014 and its application in injury management and RTW procedures.
  • Diploma in Injury Management, Claims Management or a related field, or equivalent skills and knowledge gained through experience.
  • Current Driver’s licence - Class C
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating effectively across a diverse business and at all levels, with a particular focus on delivering an authentic customer experience
  • Ability to demonstrate an empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive matters
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providers, influence decision making, and communicate clearly and confidently in challenging or ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated effective organisational and time management skills
