About the role
Asset Operations are seeking applications for a Network Information Manager to join the team in this newly created role.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Operations, the Network Information Manager is accountable for the governance, quality, integrity and operational management of network asset information across the organisation. Leading an experienced team (16) the role is focussed on driving innovation and continuous improvement projects in asset data management, ensuring effective systems integration to capture critical data input, data completeness, accuracy and relevance to support safe and efficient network operations, regulatory compliance, lifecycle asset management, and informed investment decision-making.
The Network Information Manager is responsible for leading the asset data management strategy and asset data operations. It will work with key stakeholders across the business to align data and information capabilities with organisational priorities, operational requirements and long-term investment needs.

About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (engineering, information systems, and data management) and/or the equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise asset data, including asset data structures, information models, data standards, governance and data quality frameworks
- Proven experience leading and managing teams, with the ability to build capability, establish clear accountabilities and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and delivery.
- Demonstrated Asset Management experience, with a strong understanding of how asset data and information support asset lifecycle decision making, business outcomes and effective risk management.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise asset management, information and data systems.
- Proven experience leading complex systems integration initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting and contextualising data, moving beyond reporting to generate actionable business insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to develop practical, innovative solutions that drive outcomes.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience with a track record of developing strong business partnering relationships.
- Driver’s License (Class C)
