About the Role
Reporting to the Telecommunications Engineering Team Leader, this role plays a key part in the design, planning, and integration of both our Operational Telecommunications Network and the DC Power systems that support it. You’ll provide expert engineering advice across technologies including but not limited to Ethernet, PDH, SDH, and IP/MPLS, as well as specifying of chargers and batteries to support 48V DC systems for telecommunications equipment and 110V DC systems that supply substation automation devices (protection relays and SCADA systems).
Take ownership of your day and help safeguard the reliability and security of South Australia’s electricity network by delivering integrated, standards-compliant solutions across operational telecommunications and substation DC infrastructure.

About you
Your skills and experience will include:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications, Electrical and/or Electronic that will allow for admission as a Corporate Member of Institute of Engineers, Australia - (CPEng is desirable).
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence.
