About the role

Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise can make a tangible impact? SA Power Networks is seeking a Powerline Asset Engineer to join our Asset Investment team on a 12 month contract and play a key role in shaping the future of South Australia’s electricity distribution network.

As a Powerline Asset Engineer, you will develop and implement solutions to manage powerline assets, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective services for our customers.

You will leverage insights into asset condition and risk to guide your decisions, prioritising the minimisation of whole-of-life costs, achieving reliability targets, and managing asset-related risks within acceptable levels. Working within the Asset Management Framework, you will ensure all activities align with SA Power Networks' strategic objectives and contribute to the achievement of our Asset Management Objectives and targets.

About you

To excel in this role, you will have:

· A degree in Engineering

· A strong background in asset management, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on distribution networks

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost efficiency and risk management.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the business.

· A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes that align with organisational goals.
