About the role  
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Software Engineer, Integration specialist to provide expert consulting, implementation, maintenance, and technical support across SAP solutions. This role is critical to ensuring the optimal lifecycle of application services that support key business processes.

You will be responsible for application management activities including enhancements, installations, configurations, upgrades, and ongoing support, while ensuring applications and interfaces remain correct, consistent, available, and fit for purpose.

About you  

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical capability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the design and development of integration interfaces based on agreed requirements
  • Develop, configure, and support integration flows (iFlows) in SAP Cloud Integration
  • Configure and manage integration adapters (e.g., IDoc, SOAP, REST, SFTP, OData)Perform message mapping, interface configuration, and adapter setup (IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP)
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration flows, message queues, and interface errors to ensure system stability and performance
  • Support migration initiatives from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite
  • Ensure secure integrations using certificates, authentication mechanisms, and SAP security standards
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define integration requirements and solutions
  • Maintain documentation for interfaces, mappings, and integration processes
  • Manage transport lifecycle and deployment across environments
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of integration scenarios
  • Support API integrations using SAP API Management
  • API lifecycle management

Essential: 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • SAP certifications in BTP, CPI, or related technologies will be highly regarded

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience working on SAP BTP projects and tools
  • Strong experience in SAP integration technologies, including ABAP and/or Fiori
  • Familiarity with business processes and system integration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support secure, reliable, and high-performing SAP applications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
