SA Power Networks is seeking an IT Service Management Lead to join our Digital & Technology team on a permanent basis. This role is dedicated to enabling Enerven’s growth and supporting the delivery of complex renewables and substation projects nationwide through fit-for-purpose digital technology and services.

About the opportunity
Are you passionate about driving IT service excellence in a dynamic environment? As the IT Service Management Lead focused on Enerven, you'll play a critical role in ensuring IT services are delivered seamlessly to meet the changing needs of Enerven’s growing business. You'll be responsible for managing vendor relationships, optimizing service quality, and supporting Enerven’s transition to standalone systems.
In this role, you’ll strategically oversee a hybrid IT model that integrates in-house resources, shared services, and external vendors—focusing on value, efficiency, and continuous service delivery excellence.
If you have a background in service management, vendor engagement, and a knack for aligning IT service delivery with business goals, this could be the position for you.
Key responsibilities include
Lead selection, management, and oversight of external service providers, ensuring vendors deliver high-quality services aligned with Enerven's operational needs.
Provide strategic support for Enerven's journey to independent systems, ensuring continuity of service and process excellence.
Oversee daily IT operational service delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimal impact on operations.
Proactively collaborate with internal teams, SAPN shared services, and external service providers to enhance IT service value and performance.
Align IT services with Enerven’s strategic goals, continually improving processes, tools, and platforms.
