The Roles:

An SA Power Networks Powerline Worker is accountable under the guidance and direction of their leader to carry out the duties associated with the construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution systems up to and including customer supply at service points.  
We have multiple positions available across our beautiful state, including metropolitan Adelaide, regional South Australia, and some of our famous coastal towns. 

Australian Role Requirements:

  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Powerline or equivalent (Essential)
  • Current SA drivers’ licence (Essential) 
  • Electrical Workers Licence. 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post trade working experience

NZ Role Requirements: 

  • Current NZ Practising License 
  • Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Distribution) Level 4
  • Current full drivers’ licence (Heavy traffic licence - beneficial)
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience including high voltage and overhead work
