SA Power Networks is seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our Asset Management & Operations Team on a permanent basis. This role will be accountable for the successful delivery of a portfolio of major capital projects.

As an SA Power Networks Project Deliver Manager you will be responsible for the leadership, management and performance of project managers and other resources to ensure the successful delivery of a large program of infrastructure works.  From up front planning through to work delivery, you will be working in conjunction with multiple teams through the SA Power Networks business including engineering & design, estimating, substation, transmission and/or powerline construction, health & safety, finance, procurement, planning, and much more.

You will also engage with senior business stakeholders, establish and lead collaborative teams & work with peers to drive projects to success.

Key responsibilities include 

  • Lead a team of project managers and civil professionals to deliver a portfolio of capital projects with overall accountability for safety, cost, time and quality
  • Work closely with the PMO function to drive consistency of reporting and project management best practice
  • Identify key internal stakeholders (across SA Power Networks), as well as our external contracting partners and manage relationships to ensure project outcomes that are best for business

Essential requirements

  • Degree in Engineering and/or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience
  • Significant experience in Program Management or Project Management in large infrastructure organisations (10+ years)
